Step 1 of 8
Where's the house?
Start typing and pick the address from the list. That's all the tool needs to get going.
Type your house number and street, then tap your address in the list that drops down. If your street doesn't show up, keep typing and add the city.
Ontario addresses. It's used to pull the aerial image and work out the measurement — nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to email the finished work order at the end.
Step 2 of 8
Here's the roof. Make it exact.
Teal lines are where eavestrough hangs. Drag the white dots to fit the roofline, tap a line to switch trough on or off for that side.
Prefer the keyboard? Tap the picture, then: ←→↑↓ move the selected corner · [ ] pick a different corner · Space turn trough on or off for the line after it · Del remove the corner · R reset. Hold Shift to move ten times faster.
Step 3 of 8
How big, and how high up?
Trough size and storeys. These two set the per-foot rate.
Trough size
Storeys tells us how much ladder and scaffold time the job takes — it's the single biggest thing after the length itself.
Step 4 of 8
Pick the material.
Three lines we install every week. Colour is free; only the gauge moves the price.
Material line
Aluminum thickness
Colour — doesn't change the price
Colour families shown here are indicative. The exact colour code, and the warranty that comes with it, gets written into the quote once we've matched it to your trim on site.
Step 5 of 8
Anything else going on?
Removal, guards, fascia, and the downspout count.
Step 6 of 8
The measurement and the numbers.
Built from the outline and LF Builders' published GTA rates. Share it, or turn it into a work order.
Working totals
The link reopens this exact measurement, live and editable, on any phone or computer. It never carries a name, a phone number or an email.
The customer gets a thank-you letter from LF Builders with the work order attached as a PDF: the design, the measurements, the scope of work, and the price you set on the next step.

Email the design and work order.
The customer gets a thank-you letter from LF Builders with the work order attached as a PDF, plus a link that reopens this exact design.
The email goes to the customer only, from LF Builders, with the work order PDF attached and a link back to this design. This is a public tool, so sends are limited to a few per measurement.
Step 8 of 8
Sent.
The link below keeps the whole design alive. Share it with anyone who needs it.

What this tool is
A free gutter design and measuring tool from LF Builders. Type an address, trace the roofline over the aerial image, set the size, material and extras, and the tool works out the linear feet, downspouts and totals at our published 2026 GTA rates. Share the link with anyone; it reopens the exact design, live and editable. When it looks right, email the customer a finished work order with the design attached.
Crews use it on a phone at the kitchen table, with the customer watching the number move. Homeowners use it to sanity-check a quote they already have. Both are the point.
The fine print that matters
Numbers here are working estimates built from the outline on the screen and our published rates. A measurement from aerial imagery is honest but not gospel: fascia condition, drainage and ladder access get confirmed on site before any work starts, and the work order says so. Nothing you build here books anything, and the price on an emailed work order is whatever the person preparing it typed in.
The satellite estimator walks you to a same-day written quote, checked by hand in North York.
