What we do
Soffit, fascia, siding, window capping and eavestrough are your home's weather armour, and they fail as a system, not one piece at a time. Rotting fascia means the eavestrough is pulling loose; peeling window trim means water is getting behind the capping.
Aluminum work has been an LF Builders specialty for decades. We bend our own capping on site, match existing colours, and detail every joint so water goes where it should: down the downspout, away from your foundation.

Frequently asked questions
How much does soffit and fascia cost?
Most full-house soffit, fascia and eavestrough packages in the GTA run $6,000–$15,000 depending on house size and accessibility. Window capping is priced per opening. We quote each element separately.
Aluminum or vinyl siding?
Aluminum takes dents but never cracks in cold; vinyl resists dents but gets brittle with age. For soffit, fascia and capping we recommend aluminum almost every time. We'll show you samples and give you the honest trade-offs.
Why does window capping matter?
Capping seals the wood frames behind it from rain and sun, done right, it ends exterior painting forever on those frames. Done wrong, it traps water against the wood. The bending and sealing detail is everything, which is why we do it in-house.
Can you match my existing colours?
Almost always. Aluminum comes in a wide colour range, and we bend custom capping to match what's on your house now.
Do you fix rot you find underneath?
Yes, and we photograph it and price it before proceeding, not after. Hidden rot is common on homes 25+ years old in Newmarket and Bradford.
Does new soffit help with ice dams?
Often dramatically. Proper soffit ventilation keeps the roof deck cold so snow melts evenly instead of refreezing at the eaves. It's one of the cheapest ice-dam fixes there is.
