Our story

It started with stone

LF Builders began in 1974 doing the work this region is built on, interlock pathways, flagstone patios, retaining walls. The kind of work where the quality is either there or it isn't, and the whole street can see which.

Five decades later we've grown into a full renovation company, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, aluminum work, waterproofing, but the way we work hasn't changed. We measure twice. We quote in writing, line by line. We come back if something's not right.

You may know us from Samm's videos, the window capping, the job-site walkarounds. That's really how it is on our sites: no mystery, no salesmen, just trades doing careful work.

What we believe

Workmanship standards

• The invisible parts are the job. Bases, membranes, footings and flashing, built right because we'll meet you again at the grocery store.
• Quotes are promises. Itemized, honest, and the price we said unless you change the scope.
• Your house, your call. We give straight advice, including "don't do this project" when that's the truth.
• Clean sites. Broom-swept daily, protected floors, respectful crews. You live here; we just work here.
• We stand behind it. Warranties in writing from a company that's been around 50 years to honour them.
